Scary Shawarma Kiosk The Inspection Guide
The Inspection is the most important scheduled event in Scary Shawarma Kiosk: the ANOMALY. At approximately 2:00 AM every shift, a driverless car pulls up to your kiosk, the lighting turns red, and you must abandon your post immediately. This event is documented on the rule sheet taped to the right wall of your counter — and breaking its protocol triggers the devastating Erased Ending.
Do not confuse The Inspection with The Inspector creature. The Inspection is the 2 AM car event requiring you to exit the building. The Inspector is the meat mass that grows from mistakes throughout your shift. They share a thematic name but operate as completely separate mechanics.
Step-by-Step Inspection Survival
- Watch the clock: The digital clock on the right side of your counter shows in-game time. As 2:00 AM approaches, prepare to stop serving customers.
- Recognize the trigger: Your screen turns red. A car with no driver appears outside. The kiosk lighting shifts to an ominous red glow.
- Exit immediately: Walk to the back door of the kiosk and go outside. Do not finish current orders or check CCTV.
- Face away: Turn your back to the kiosk. Some players stand behind the bin near the back area. Do not look at the kiosk, the car, or the Inspector entity.
- Wait: Remain outside until the red lighting returns to normal. Only then is it safe to re-enter and resume your shift.
What NOT to Do During Inspection
Never look back at the Shawarma Kiosk during the Inspection — this triggers the Erased Ending and ends your run. Do not check CCTV monitors while outside. Do not look up at the Inspector entity if you catch a glimpse. Do not attempt to continue serving customers through the window. Every one of these actions violates the golden rules posted in your kiosk.
Some video guides suggest turning off the grill and closing shutters before 2:00 AM as preparation. This reduces chaos when the event begins but is not strictly required — the critical action is exiting through the back door and facing away.
Inspection and Endings
Surviving the Inspection correctly is required for both the Perfect Ending and the Unstable Ending. Looking back during Inspection triggers the Erased Ending regardless of your mistake count. Even a flawless anomaly record is destroyed by a single glance during this event.
High error counts from serving dangerous anomalies or rejecting safe customers cause The Inspector creature to grow throughout your shift. At five errors, the creature fully emerges for the Employee Neutralized Ending — a separate failure state from the Inspection event itself.
Multiplayer Inspection Strategy
In co-op play, all players should exit together and face away from the kiosk. Communicate when the clock approaches 2:00 AM so no teammate is caught mid-order inside. Assign someone to watch the clock during busy serving periods when anomaly frequency is high.
